1. Doc and Friends meets Arctic Sea Team Charity Cup

Following the welcome and a few words of thanks from both beneficiary organizations, the first
part of the auction commenced, and at 12:30 p.m. sharp, the serving of a tasty soup began. Afterwards, the teams set off and spread out among the groynes at Schönbergerstrand. Each team consisted of an expert fishing with a rookie. A few tips were exchanged and put into practice immediately. In this way, each team was able to outsmart a few nice flatfish for the kitchen.
At 8:00 p.m. sharp, the fishing ended, and many satisfied participants made their way back to the Felsenburg. It didn't take long before the second meal of the day was on the table: a hearty goulash. Following this excellent meal, the second part of the auction began.
The highlight here was the balcony power plant from the company GP JoULE, which was auctioned off for a very high bid. After numerous good bids, the auction was closed at midnight sharp with the final – and very good! – bid: a total of approximately 15,000 euros was raised. There was also no shortage of fun this year. The most bizarre fish caught was awarded a newly designed caricature by Doc Vater.
Participants with the Doc
A heartfelt thank you to all the participants who have made Doc and Friends what it is over the years - fishing for friends and among friends for people who are much worse off than any of us!
A special thank you goes to our sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible.
