This matte black and very slim drop shot weight is made of top-quality tungsten. Due to its extremely high density, it keeps the lure reliably on the bottom and provides optimal feedback on the nature of the lake bed. Furthermore, the elongated shape reduces the risk of snagging between stones and other gaps and crevices.
The matte black color has a good camouflage effect and reduces missed strikes on the weight. A weak point of many drop shot weights is the clamping eyelet. It is designed to hold the line securely without cutting it, and only release the rig in the event of an unavoidable snag. The eyelet of this weight performs these tasks with flying colors. It has exactly the right wire gauge and offers the optimal compromise between the various requirements. Of course, like all Stripes tungsten products, the Drop Shot Stick is 100% lead-free and therefore non-toxic.
Anyone still looking for the optimal drop shot weight for their tackle box will find it here.
