The Jika rig is often the better alternative to a classic jig head. This tungsten weight with a quick-attach system makes the angler's life easier.
The weight is made of high-density tungsten and offers excellent sinking properties and optimal feedback regarding bottom composition. The workmanship is perfect, and the attachment system is made of sturdy stainless steel wire. This allows the weights on the Jika rig to be swapped out in a flash. Furthermore, the relatively open attachment eye ensures optimal freedom of movement for the lure, providing even more action. The finish is in an unobtrusive matte black so that the lure itself remains the focus for the fish. The corresponding weight is printed on each Jika sinker, so there is no doubt which weight is being used when out on the water.
In addition to its function with the Jika rig, this weight can also be used perfectly for weighting shallow rigs and large pike swimbaits when they need to be offered in deeper water layers. Here, the compact dimensions of the tungsten weights really pay off, as they interfere with the lure's action significantly less than bulkier lead weights.
